We stayed next to first tree that you come to on the left side of the gravel road. It's just far enough off 93 that you barely hear a passing car or truck. If you continue west on Muleshoe Valley Road there are tons of nice sites available. We had great Verizon connectivity at out site. You will lose service further in.

Peace place with 3 x bars Verizon LTE. The better shade is on the west side of 93. (Photo taken east side of 93).
