Decent site for a tent. Some glass around the site. Beautiful morning views over a small craggy canyon. A small gated community in the distance and the occasional resident walks dogs in the area.

This is State Trust land and it is monitored by the Sheriff's office.
Not a good place to stay as it requires a pass to stay. Sheriff and locals came by and told me to leave, so skip this and go over to Sedona.
Update - just got a visit from the sheriff. Apparently this is US trust land? Not sure what that exactly means but it’s not public. A neighbor called it in. Sheriff was nice. Moving now to the other side of 89.
Report Check-InUS Forest Service Land. Pretty good dirt road. My 2wd sprinter is fine. Didn’t take the road all the way down so now sure what’s down that way. Great views. Away from the road but the road itself isn’t busy. Lots of space. 2-3 bars T-Mobile
Report Check-InVery secluded spot, but gorgeous sunrise! Very quiet, but you’ll love it if you want your privacy. We didn’t go all the way down the road because it was a little too bumpy for our transit - instead hooked a right at the fork and just parked on the road. Rating this a 7/10.
