Stopped here for the night before crossing the border to Peru the next day. It’s a great stop. Showers and bathrooms are free, clean, and nice. The parking spots are a bit slanted, but we leveled out with two traction boards. Mini market is fully stocked if you need anything.

We took the 69 highway instead of E35 and it was fine. Paved, one lane going each way. Occasional landslides that had broken up the asphalt, but nothing crazy. Remote mountain pass, but good asphalt. I recommend topping up with gas here and before Peru, because it’s much more expensive there!

service station with free toilet and shower service, tidy, clean and friendly people. we parked under some trees on the road above the service station. you level easy and it is quiet to sleep.

estación de servicio con servicio de baños y ducha gratis, ordenada, limpia y personas amables. nosotros parqueamos debajo de unos árboles en el camino por arriba de la estación de servicio. nivelas fácil y es tranquila para dormir.

Brand new gas station with showers, bathroom, water and shop targeted at professional drivers. We did not spend the night here (we were here at noon), but did accept the spontaneous invitation for a shower. And we filled our water tank. All for free with a full tank of cheap diesel.
