Report Check-InAll other pull out and even this one was taken but we find one just before. For one campervan only. Good view. Very quiet. Free. No amenities.
Report Check-InAmazing location right the by ocean and lagoon. Big enough for cars and vans probably not trailers. Road is a little bumpy but my Kia Optima did fine.
Report Check-InSpot was occupied upon arrival and a few hundred yards down the road I found an excellent pullout, plenty of space for my 23’ Sprinter van, with a beautiful view of the lagoon and beach. Slight downhill grade and no issue for sleeping/cooking. 2 cars passed between 7:30pm and 10:30am. 2 bars of Verizon. Heard ocean more than highway.
Report Check-InPlace was occupied and a few hundred yards further down the road I found another turnout that easily fit my 23’ Sprinter van. Slight downhill slant and it was not a problem for sleeping/cooking. Gorgeous view of the lagoon and coast. Heard the waves breaking more than any highway noise. 1-2 bars of Verizon. 2 cars passed from between 7:30pm and 10:30am.
Report Check-InNice quiet turnout on a little used road. Top of a hill, some low branches when traveling from the north. Good Verizon signal.
Report Check-InLarge pull off on the side of a small quiet road. Camped here 2 nights in a tent, decently flat. Big enough for a few big rigs. Nice view of the ocean. Also, HAVE **BEAR SPRAY** IF YOU ARE TENT CAMPING. We watched a younger black bear walk right through our campsite in the early morning. Luckily we were in our car and had no food out!
Report Check-InLarge pull off on the side of a small road, flat enough for a tent and large enough for a few RVs. Looks like others have built campfires here. Decent little view of the ocean. Residential road but overall quiet and peaceful. 3 bars from Verizon.
Report Check-InWOW, this is THE spot. it's gorgeous, you can see tons of incredible beach through the trees, it's on an old nearly abandoned highway which is still decently paved, and there's a great mowed spot here. I even got my 40 foot skoolie nearly level. best spot I've ever found on here, serious 10/10 and there's cell service too!
Report Check-InPull out off the old highway. Quiet but able to hear the ocean in the background. No one passed at all, except a single vehicle in the am. There is a pile of garbage and a large burnt area from previous visitors. No amenities /toilets but a redwood national forest visitor center is about 3 miles away - toilets and bottle filling station available during business hours. Would not be great for pets off-leash due to proximity of road.
Report Check-InAs advertised. No view of the ocean, but moderate size for a minivan and not bothered by traffic. Nice sounds of the ocean covering everything else. Hard to find anything else for a tent around here except the few spots on this road.
Report Check-InThis pullout was occupied by a trailer, so I parked up at the next smaller pullout just south. One car passed by at night and another in the morning. There are a few pullouts along this road, some more level than others, and maybe only two big enough for a larger rig.
Report Check-InThere is a camper set up here that seems rather permanent.. about .2 miles further down the road is another pull out though that’s big enough for a converted camper or SUV. Great view but a little slanted!
Report Check-InBig place on hill near road. Quait at night, no problem with local peoples, 3km to visitor center.
