Big flat gravel area with a lot of spots. In this time of the year very quiet nearly nobody around. No infrastructure. Free. Maximum stay 14 days.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Easy spot to get into at mile marker 99. As others have said, it's a huge gravel area with lots of flat camping spots. Dump and water are up the road at the long-term campgrounds and cost $70 for the entire summer. You need to move every 14 days, but you don't need to move far.
Report Check-InConvenient but very pricey. Blyth California is only 21 miles away . Worth the trip
Report Check-InFree 14 day BLM camping west of Roadrunner.
Level area, peaceful, and can see the mountains all around.
Report Check-InGreat area for boon-docking truck camper rally location 2024, water, Sami dump station, and propane right down the street. If you go into the little town Outback pizza was a great option!!
Report Check-InTake La Pas road not pipeline. pipeline has some gullies tough for bigger rigs. From Quartzsite, La Pas rd is 1/4 mile past pipeline. immediate rt turn from La Pas after exiting g 95.
Lots and lots of nearly level space. I didn't go to the end, only about 1/2 mile in.
T-Mobile is spotty. otherwise great space. Roadrunner grocery had fresh produce at a decent price.
Report Check-InSpent a couple weeks here. Great place to camp for free. If you want more services you can pay in the LTVA area $80 for 2 weeks, but roadrunner is free. No services here though.
Report Check-InStayed here for a truck camper rally. Area was huge and well-kept (didn't see much of any garbage around). You do need to register when coming into this area, but you may have a challenging time finding the host to check in. Just keep trying.
14-day limit. Personally, I loved the Kofa Wildlife Refuge a bit more (just south a ways).
Report Check-InQuartzfest 2023 - setup and camping for the week. This is a nice area with plenty of room.
Report Check-InDispersed blm land. Tons of space. Sign says don't enter when flooded. Weak t-mobile signal.
Report Check-InPlace is super quiet, spacious, safe. Tons of fire pits sprinkled throughout the area and cell device is great. ATT LTE 5bars. No amenities and good for 2WD
Report Check-InStayed a few days and caught the end of the RV show. It wasn’t crowded. Lots if people left
Report Check-Innice 14 day area well maintained area close to quartzite and it's clean from what I've seen
Report Check-InThe road I is too hilly for big rigs. My class C unit is 31’ and I didn’t chance it. Suggest boondocking next to Roadrunner in La Posa extended stay area for big rigs. Hardly anyone here when I camped here. Nice and quiet.
Report Check-InNice Boondocking spot. Cell service was decent. Nearby two-track mountain biking.
Report Check-Ingreat spot 7miles outside of Quartzite. no TV channels. good cell service.
Report Check-InBig flat gravel area with a lot of spots. In this time of the year very quiet nearly nobody around. No infrastructure. Free. Maximum stay 14 days.
