Parking Lot for Downtown Crescent City | Informal Campsite

Parked our B-van in this lot overnight. Earlier, I asked a nearby police officer what the policy was on overnighting in this parking lot. He said it was public parking and there was an 8 hour limit, but then he said it wouldn't be a problem. I asked him about the safeness of the area and he didn't think there would be any problem here. We went away and came back around 9:30 pm and stayed until about 7:30 am. It was a peaceful night without much traffic noise.

Methed out and homeless abound, didn’t stay.. slept at Home Depot

Nice area city park across the street and Grocery outlet a block north. 101 about a mile sway.

had no issues. the lighthouse close by makes a boop sound periodically the entire night through. other than that, good and safe place for a night.

Spacious parking lot across from visitor center and park. Decent bathrooms at the park. Was parked with two other rigs and had no issues. Nice to walk out to the beach and pier in the morning without having to move your vehicle

Large parking lot with some trees and landscape separations, parking for downtown with some Tesla charging stations, a library and an office building line two sides of the lot, so don't take up those spaces, trash and recycling in front of library, beach park across the street with flush toilets, stayed here two nights along with some locals, no problems.
