Description
Most beautiful place in the area!
Lots of shade on the grassy area.
No shower (you have the lake for that) and a long drop toilet.
You can park directly at the lake. Lots of place for overlanders so you always can stay far away from others.
Fireplaces available for the fresh fish you can buy for small money and the owners are very friendly and welcome you. Nobody else here. Very relaxing place where you can recover from stressful parking lots camps. Nobody will bother you.
The way to this camp is little tricky to find but it it absolutely worth it! No signs.
Before the entrance to the Africa vacation lodge turn right and follow the track. At the T junction turn than left, than after maybe 40m there is a concrete "bridge" at the right side. Cross this and follow the way down. Here he is:We loved it and would spend a whole week here.

Great campsite run by Ambesa and his little son Ollie. They are very helpful and campspot is beautiful spot. I went there by bicycle and I was the only one there. They took good care of me and even made me dinner, breakfast and a camp fire! There are two ways to get there but if coming from Addis you can take a left and head down towards Africa Vacation Resort and then make a right before reaching there and follow the path. On Google it looks like the road doesn't exist or there is no path but that is not correct. There is a path and a good way to get there. I didn't have many issues with my bike. Ambesa also asked for 400 birr but I paid 300. If you get lost just ask the people at Africa Lodge. They were very helpful. Happy travels!

Report Check-InWe found it difficult to leave this beautiful place! So quiet and peaceful with a fantastic view over Lake Langano. Swimming every day and chilling, this place is perfect. Lovely welcoming family, Ambesa is the best host. Only a long drop but all maintained well. Worth a visit
