Description
Restaurant, swimming pool and hospedaje next to the old Panamericana. Great stop for cyclists going north if you dont want to do the whole climb in a day or during the afternoon heat!
Very lovely owners, plenty of space to park motos or bicycles (we took our bicycles inside the room, although the tiny village seems to be very safe and everyone we met there was super friendly).
20.000 COP for a room with two matresses on the floor & private bathroom with cold water. Very basic but still great value. Clean pool, lovely owners, beautiful garden with hammocks.There are many fruit trees (Orange, Mango, Avocado, Banana...) behind the house and you can pick as much as you like.
There are some small shops with basic supplies in the village (Rosa Florida), about 5 min walk away.
Restaurant serves a daily dish and even prepared something vegetarian for me upon request.

This place is called “Estadero Las Acacias” on Google Maps. Run by a lovely family and the rooms are cosy and clean. No problems bringing our bicycles inside.
Stayed in a room with a double bed facing the pool, cost 60,000 which was a bit high but we felt like desperate little wet rats out in the rain.
There were basically no food options nearby so the owner ordered some meat and potatoes for delivery for us! Thank goodness. There was a little tuck shop on-site which sells beers, juices, and crisps!
