road was good 2wd dirt road. plenty of washboard on west side...slower going bumps and rocks as you get closer to san javier. Took about 4hrs from hwy on west to san javier. from around to san javier is the most beautiful. if heavy rains it'd be a different story I'm sure.
we had a bit of water in the arroyos and roads east of here...nothing deep or soft but enough that the birds and animals flocked to. plenty of roadrunners!!
nice option if you want a change of scenery from baja beaches. san javier is 2nd oldest mission in baja.
