Worth a stop here just to see the mini 'grand' canyon which is pretty impressive, but also a good camp spot, well off the road with good 2wd access and great views. Lots of room and a beautifully quiet night. Our only concern was the chewed up guanaco - puma?! No fires allowed. Road through from hotel perfectly OK with 2wd.

Perfect overnight stop. Pretty chilly though :)
Road is a suberb scenic drive, in good condition, possible for every vehicle.
The RN 52 down to Mendoza is closed for several month becauce of landslide. We saw the broken road.
