Description

We went to get a permit to camp in the Wilderness Area and the warden told us about the showers at Belly Acres.
The sign in the bathroom says 4 quarters for 10 mins ($2.5/ minute) but when we put 50¢ in the timer read 10 mins. Not sure if the timer was off, it felt a little shorter than 10mins, but we weren't timing it.
Water was HOT right away. The pressure was great. The shower was in a private room with hooks and a bench. You could shower with more than one person, there was room for 3 people anyway... ; )
Laundry was also available, but we just used the laundromat further in town so I don't know the cost here.
Pull in and park on your left. The sign for the showers will direct you behind an RV campsite on the left side of the lot. The shower is coin operated. No need to check in. The bathroom is in a small building on the right side of the lot behind the dump station.
Enjoy!
ps. Across the road at the IGA/Ace Hardware you can purchase water. The water from the taps in town is potable but tastes gross, so we splurged and spent $1 to fill our 5 gallon jug. Not quite as cheap as water in Mexico, but close!

As described by others. Nice to have a HOT shower :)

The quarter operated shower was great! $1 for a 10 min shower but you can add more quarters as needed while you shower. There are two shower stalls next to each other but each has a lockable door. Bench and space to change is inside your shower stall. Staff was very kind and friendly at the RV park. I highly recommend stopping by for a shower.

Staff was super friendly. Just let them know we wanted to shower and she showed us right where it was and even invited us to eat valentines cake sadly we had to pass on the cake. You have to put 50cents in to start the water. Good pressure nice and warm. 3$ was more than enough for the family of 4 to have a good shower.
