Mexico
Nice hotel with public restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Security guard at will open gate to private development off highest 5, on the same side of the airstrip as the Pemex. Drive to the very end of that road, past the beach houses to the large red hotel. Paid satellite WiFi is expensive (targeted at residents). Cheap 15 min internet available at the store across from the Pemex.

A local fella from San Felipe suggested that we stop here for a $3 beer or two and enjoy the back deck. Everything else on the menu was pretty expensive so we just enjoyed the music & vibe, the beer and the many flocks of pelicans hunting. Road in is long but hard packed. Flush toilets. Friendly staff.
Report Check-InAbsolute rip-off. Charged $100 a night but failed to mention at check in that this did not include electricity in the rooms (they had ceiling lights but no plugs) nor that the water pressure was atrocious.. Not more than a slight dribble of water which cut out entirely for 5 minutes during my shower.
Location is beautiful and views from terrace are great. Road out to hôtel is gravel and some sand.. No issues for a car or an adv bike, possibly a tad challenging for a big cruiser but manageable.
I would not stay here again.
