Small quiet State Park with several great hikes. Electric & Water Hook up sites $20 & $10 hike in Primitive Sites. Also costs $6 per person per day entrance fee unless u have the Texas State Pass & this fee is then waived. Absolutely no internet/TV/radio on site except at headquarters & on the very top of the West Loop Trail. Showers clean & hot.

Spots are somewhat close together without much privacy. Park staff friendly and helpful. Decent hiking along the river and on the rim. No cell service for any carrier, Verizon not even in this area for miles. AT&T down the road a few miles. Would stay again

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station. There’s also a visitor center/museum at the park. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. The campground roads and camping pads are paved.
