Description

Owner Bobby is happy to see overlanders. He's asking 10 USD per night.

Place is beautiful and having access to the ocean and sweet water in the lagoon was very nice. There are toilets you can use. At the weekend, there is a restaurant and bar. There is security.

very nice and quiet beach.
We arrived on Sunday, and it was pretty much deserted. During the week completely deserted.
there are some boys as guards. friendly people.
Some locals to sell you a coconut or have a chat.
no water when we were there (apparently a pipe just burst when we arrived..). Haggled a little bit for a discount over it. Paid 25usd for 3 days.

We had a lunch at Libassa Ecolodge, the burgers were nothing short of excellent! 👍Even on a Monday when there was nobody.

be careful with the sand. We didn't drive all the way to the restaurant as we didn't want to risk getting stuck. The guys of course said it was nooooo problem at all. Next hour was spent on digging some other guy out of the sand who got stuck.

This place is very beautiful, with some nice beach.
Problem is that during the week, there are no guests, during the weekend it is probably crowded.
Problem I faced is no security in the night, for overlanders near a big city this is not without risk.
Price was 10usd for a night with showers and toilet.

Perfect place for overlanders.

Gorgeous beach, toilet and shower, right on the ocean. Security in the night. Quite place. We were the only ones.

There is a new owner now Bobby, really cool guy. In the weekend they have a restaurant & bar. During the week you have the place all to yourself. There is a toilet you can use. There are nightguards around for safety, really nice guys as well. The beach is absolutely stunning. He asks 10 USD per night per camping car. Follow the signs 'Scarlett beach, old Ceasars beach' and you'll find it.

We camp there for 2 nights next to an ancient hotel. People there asked us 5$ for access at the beach and 5$ to stay for the night. They tried to ask more but with no amenities we said it was enough. Place is beautiful and having access to the ocean and sweet water in the lagoon was very nice.
