Great rest stop for staying the night. relatively quiet. very little cell signal, but good enough for small things.

Report Check-In

If you are self-contained and just trying to sleep, this is by far the best of the three rest stops in the Edwards area. The views are lovely and even though you’re next to the highway, it’s fairly quiet as the parking area is nestled against the base of the mountains.
There are 3 porto’s and trash bins.
2 bars Verizon LTE

Nice rest stop. There were 2 porta potties that we’re kinda stinky. Pretty busy spot with a few car/truck campers, a big rv and a lot of 18 wheelers that pulled in and left their engines on which was a little noisy. Some noise from the highway but nothing too bad.

marked Wilmore Lake. it's still a CDOT rest area. Porta potties here but I wouldn't use them. There were 5 big rigs here and about 8 boondockers.

nice spot to overnight. lots of hw traffic and semi noise.

They changed the name on the signs to “Wilmore Lake Scenic Area”. Overnight parking still allowed. Edwards Rest Area is a couple miles east, and does not allow overnight.

Report Check-In

Arguably the best overnight spot in the area, especially if skiing Vail. Real bathrooms too if you need it. So many towns around here don’t allow any overnighters.

For free Vail parking, leave the rest stop early and park on the street by West Vail Mall bus stop at 7am for a spot. Free buses come frequently to give you a ride to Vail Resort + Village.

Report Check-In

Decent spot for a night. Not too much road noise and not too much noise from trucks considering it is a truck stop. 1bar Verizon 4G.

Report Check-In

Right off the highway, there was a car that pulled off and people sleeping in it, not sure Overnight or not? 4 porta potties. Usually a few trucks/vehicles pulled in. Busy spot
