Wonderful place to stay and only 1.2 miles from the Walnut Canyon National Monument. A must see/visit place. Very quiet and a lot of campers along this road. Recommend arriving early. We were there around 5ish and seemed like a number of spots were taken. Perfect place to stay near Flagstaff.

Camped here a few weeks ago. Lovely place to disperse camp. It's sad that people aren't packing in and packing out!!!

Report Check-In

Great spot and good service. Fine with 2wd even after rain/snow the night prior. As mentioned by others, a good amount of trash. Please clean up after yourself!!

Report Check-In

nice large flat pull offs, lots of other people camping there as well. the road is very washboarded but easily accessible. we were in a 25 ft skoolie.

Beautiful dispersed forest road. 2wd ok just watch for mud if rain comes. Three bars Verizon. Please pick up your trash and bring it with you and your poop if you don’t know how to bury it. This lifestyle is going to be taken away if the public land keeps getting trashed. I noticed 4 abandoned trash filled sites and cleaned out two!

Beautiful sites in the trees all along this stretch of road, felt very cozy and safe. No noise at all

Report Check-In

Dispersed sites with plenty of flat space. Lots of different little offshoots from the main road. Nighttime arrival, or after precipitation, could be disastrous in a 2wd or low-clearance vehicle—roads are not maintained. Otherwise great. No amenities.

Report Check-In

Many spots along road but many of them seem too difficult to get into with my van (big ditch near road washes out) but spots further back are in better shape. Found an open flat spot, no neighbors, but managed to creep myself out and left early in the morning.
