nice central quiet dark spot on Olsen just south of Blacklidge.
I personally like this spot because it's near Yoga Oasis ($5 yoga / 7 am), five guys and Starbucks.
on a side note:
I talked with security in Albertsons parking lot and he said RVs are NOT allowed to park there. This spot is on
Olsen road behind Albertsons.
I have seen 18 wheelers parked on this road, and one RV.
This spot is along a wall on west side of road. Opposite side is the side of a house ( not front of house) .. perfect little Grey zone for RVs
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
residential on one side a brick wall on the other. minimal traffic. had two other vans parked along the same road. quiet night.
Report Check-InStayed here for 1 night. Quiet and hardly any street traffic. Security from Albertsons drives the lot at night. No issues at all.
Report Check-Innot sure why this place has been marked closed. it looks the same as when I was here 6 months ago. there are no signs about parking at all and no security patrols. I have slept here a couple times now this month and no one has bothered me and it has been pretty quiet.
Report Check-InI scoped this place out and the entirety of Olson and the neighborhood there wasn’t a soul behind Albertsons but there was multiple people on the dark street walking around and I did see some coyotes. Without other people around I really didn’t feel comfortable
Report Check-InOne of the quietest streets in central Tucson to sleep. Absolutely perfect for the night. No signs about parking on that street, all fences and back wall of shopping center. (Not sure why the previous poster disliked it so strongly...)
