Good place to stay for 30 dollars. Only 25 minutes from the Mexican boarder. Can get busy, so they advice you to make a reservation. We booked the evening in advance, plenty of space left to choose from.

West campgrounds, nice spot close to the lake.

Popular, crowded, for a reason! Lucked out in getting a last minute reservation for this State Park. Pleasant sites along the lake. Too cold for swimming now. Showers were very clean and hot, with room to hang your clothes and toiletries. Good value.

This is a funny place. Good birding. Nice birding trails. Ask for bird list and picture list at the gate. May have camps available. Very unorganized. Says "camp full" at the road. Then you get to the gate, may have a couple of sites available. But most likely not. Must be no limit to a stay here. Clean restroom, free shower. Dump station. The ranger said they had WiFi but not anymore. No cell signal. Small store with gas by boat ramp. Insane they allow speed boats on this really small lake. Cows everywhere. Cow pies in camps. Tragedy to see the cows destroy the bird habitat.
