Latest Check-Ins

Beautiful campsite! Lots of bird and animal sounds all night but didn’t hear cars after dark. Quiet a few people drove by to camp here after I got here on a Saturday. There is enough places for 4 vehicles and there is a fire ring. The pit toilet has been covered with bricks since the last review. I was in a roof top tent so I wasn’t very stealthy and still had no problems. The drive up isn’t for the faint of heart. The dirt road isn’t very well maintained by is passable in almost any vehicle (maybe not if you are pulling a camper). I had 1 bar of LTE with T-Mobile at the site but very little service in the surrounding area.

Nice spot along the side of the road. Flat enough, fire ring, pit toilet (which is down a path in the back right of the site - kind of hard to find, particularly in the dark!). Intermittent 1 bar of Verizon LTE

Report Check-In

Nice spot close to the Buffalo Creek MTB trailhead.
Well built pit toilet hidden in the trees.
Some commuting traffic during the day. Very quiet during the night.

Report Check-In

Small roadside campsite, no pit toilet any longer. Busy road, cars and mountain bikers. A car and two mountain bikes rode by within 15 minutes of arrival. Decent stop if you need safe place for the night. Busy road because Hawksbill Crag/Whitaker Point a popular hiking trail is down the road.

Report Check-In

Great dispersed camping in the Ozarks. Near trail heads and the river, nice and secluded.

Report Check-In

Nice place off quiet dirt road. Great place to see the stars on a clear night
