Description

*Overnight camping/parking is NOT available at this location.
.....
Free parking, no sign restrictions on both sides of the bridge probably about 12-15 spots total. Near a hotel so the restaurant can be a bit loud into the evening but not too late. Very safe location to leave a vehicle for the day and night!

Report Check-In

there are "no parking on the bridge" signs here now, unfortunately.

As previously described. We lucked out with getting a spot right in the center of the bridge overlooking the Riverwalk. It is so pretty with the holiday decorations. We had zero noise issues. Probably because it’s so cold and rainy. Only local residents walking their pups. It’s about a mile walk to The Alamo.

We confirm, music until 2am,but it just the rooftop close to the bridge. It you park further on the road its better. Really good spot to walk downtown, taking the Riverwalk. Public wc just at 200mt (on the Riverwalk). We stayed here with 5 others vehicles, was quite exempt for the rooftop. Lots of restaurants and food truck close-by.

Loud music until 2am on Friday night. Other than that good spot right on the river. Short walk to public bathrooms down the river.

Great spot and had no trouble for two nights, but the next morning a cop gave us a warning on our windshield. She was very pleasant and informed us we can still park another night or two but not more than 14 days in a row and that’s when they ticket. She mentioned it’s a grace period and in the future they want people to stop parking on the bridge

Beautiful spot on the top of the bridge happened to be open, so we parked all night! Quiet for the most part with very little noise all night. There was a flashing light at one point that woke us up, but no one knocked so it must not have been for us. We parked from 10:30pm until 8:00am. No street signs on either side that forbid parking on the bridge and we weren’t the only ones overnight parking in the area. Waking up on the water is always a pleasure!

Place relativement tranquille avec possibilité d’être directement sur le pont ou sinon à peine plus loin où c’est plus de niveau. La marche par le River Walk en vaut le coup de jour et de soir pour son côté illuminé

Spent a night here no problems. I found a parking spot right in the middle of the bridge (where it is level). Seems like a very safe area, hotels around and the beautiful river walk right below. Great location pretty close to downtown!

Nice view. Safe. Loud cause of the Phipps until 1:00.

Nice and quiet, good cell signal. Really a perfect location with an amazing view.

BEAUTIFUL spot! We stayed two nights. the first night we found a spot right on the bridge, but the second night it was full (Thursday night) so we stayed just down the road a bit. The river walk is so much fun, especially at night! I'd recommend going to the Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen for a beer at night!

Love this spot! I wasn’t too sure if I was going to stay here because when I saw it during the day, it is in a safe location, but was busy.
Stay away from Broadway by the Brewery (two streets over). I originally chose that spot because it was more quiet during the day, with tons of lighting at night, but it turns into a shortcut of some sort between highways at night. Constant flow of cars all night going at a fast speed. This spot is so quiet, and if you get a parking spot overlooking the River, it just makes it that much better. Christmas lights at this time of year are just adorable. :-)
