Nice place for camping under palm trees. Very good surf spot. Massive waves. Restaurant/Bar just 300 m away, where you can fill up water containers. There is internet there as well.

Very nice spot at the beachfront. Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the sunsets. Locals will show up for sunsets, otherwise quiet and many good spots beneath the palmtrees.
Report Check-InNice place directly on the beach under trees. Multiple spots available. During the day locals, we where there on a Sunday, on the night very calm. Felt always save. Nice beach, be careful for swimming, strong currents.
Report Check-InBeautiful beach and awesome free camp spot. Our favorite place since Baja. Lots of shady spots under the trees and really fun surf break. The tiki restaurant has a drinking water spout, and free outdoors showers. It was hard to leave!
Report Check-InVery nice spot under the coconut trees. This is an opportunity to test your skill to drop coconuts with a long pole. The beach is beautiful and huge, there are beautiful shells. Walking to the northwest you cross the Río Coco, it is a beautiful little river with fresh and transparent water, perfect to remove salt.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. Incredible sunsets. Lots of shade during the entire day. Stayed 2 nights and slept so peacefully with the sound of the waves seemingly crashing at our doorstep. At night, decent breeze and cooler temps after afternoon rain.
Note: The restaurant at the end of the street charged my girlfriend 30% extra on top of the already expensive prices… so, keep that in mind if you want to eat there. 😐
Report Check-InVery cool beach with lots of shadow. Watch out for falling coconut. No one around, safe and quiet.
Report Check-InStunning place. We parked and camped in a small pocket between the road and the beach, in the shade of some perfect palm trees. Plenty of spots along the road but recommend arriving around sundown when day trippers leave and free up space. Felt entirely safe. At the end of the road there’s a restaurant/bar called Tiki Hut, where you can get Wi-Fi, water and use toilets+outdoor shower. They serve delicious but somewhat expensive food and drinks, and we were able to rent a surf board from a guy (20 USD for a day).
Report Check-InDirect on the beach spot. Very nice, just under the trees but be careful of the possible falling coconuts ...
Good surfing spot. Easy access (just approx. 10km of dirt road if you come north).
Amazing beach spot! Spent 2 nights here alone. Under the palm tree so you can have shade the whole day. Great spot to surf as well, especially for beginners. There is millions of ermit crab right next to it leaving in the coconut!
The restaurant down the road “Tiki Hut” has amazing food. Try the sea food pasta !! They is a water tap next to them, great to fill bottles and portable water tanks.
Fantastic wild camping spot! Lots of little shady spots all along this road, beautiful views, not many bugs. Waves are big, but they crash farther out, so you can still swim in the foamies. Maybe the best wild camping we’ve had since Baja!
Report Check-InQuiet, right on the beach. We found a spot that’s not marshy/muddy. It’s rainy season. And it was perfect. Free, nobody bothered us. Lots of small coves to pull into. Water cones up high and is very strong. Do not recommend fir swimming, some people surf further up the beach.
Report Check-InWhat an amazing spot! Even on the weekend (Friday night) we had the spot and beach to ourselves. Felt really safe, good Kolbi reception. There are several spots along that road to the Tiki restaurant.
Report Check-InAmazing spot just in front of the beach. Calm and secure. The tiki hut restaurant is 300m away and there you can get water. They have also wifi, toilets and showers. Food is amazing!
Report Check-InAmazing spot, easy to get to! Slept right on the beach, no tent needed in December. Just be aware of the tide almost covering the entire beach!
Report Check-InAbsolutely gorgeous beach, with nice surf.
Couple of surfers during the day, at night deserted.
The bar is closed until December, so no facilities at all.
spend a great night here on the beach, with open doors. felt pretty safe. just make sure you lock up fully when going for a surf.
wifi still the same and the shower behind the tiki bar an added value.
nice spot for a sunset surf with not too many people (compared to busy tamarindo). road in. is a pretty long dirt track, but in good shape.
WARNING! realy nice beach, but in the half hour we've been there some thiefs forced the lock of our backdoor and stole our bags with everything of value we had with us! So please be careful. There is a campsite and the end of the road, about 300m further than the bar, might be safer after all. If park in front of the bar you have to pay for the guy who watches your car
Report Check-InSuper sweet spot amid the palm trees and steps to the beach. A lovely tiki bar/restaurant with good drinks and food, showers and WiFi. Lots of camping spots along the beach that are quiet and private. Good surf too for advanced folks, but this newbie gal took it easy in the white water. Would definitely return!

Report Check-InBeautiful beach with a couple of great surf breaks in walking distance. We stayed further towards the entrance in than the restaurant and were alone except for on the weekend.
One of our absolute favourite spots
Spent a few nights here. It is incredibly beautiful with super fun surf. You can park under palm trees or stay in the sun to fill up the solar. This is one of the best spots we have been to for a while. the bar has good wifi and a shower and the wifi code is still the same.
Report Check-InNice, easy free camping under the palms. The tiki hut has good WiFi and a shower round the back which they let us use after we bought a few beers.
Looked like good waves for surfing.
Report Check-InI stayed 1 night further ahead, right in front of the restaurant. Feels safe, awesome surf, they let me use their wifi (password: [Password removed by Moderator.]). The day I came I saw some others people with tents, who camped the night before.
Report Check-InAmazing beach. Tons of good spots to pitch a tent along the road to the tiki bar. We got here in the pitch black middle of the night and still found a spot easily.
Report Check-InStayed 3 nights. Loved it. Got some beers at the Tiki Hut and used there wifi and shower.
Report Check-InBeautiful long beach with lots of surfing. Restaurant has bathrooms and wifi for use but you may have to buy something to use it.
Report Check-InStayed 2 days and surfed 2 days. Plenty of spaces for big and small rigs. Even saw a travel trailer posted up. Place gets really consistent swell and offshore December through march. If you need surf info stop by the unnamed hostel on the Corner of the soccer field. Titi and the Gallo Pinto crew will sort you out. Top spot for us in Costa.
Report Check-InOne of our favorites! A lot of surfers but not a ton of people on the beach. Safe & quiet at night. Great parking under trees.
Report Check-InNice place for camping under palm trees. Very good surf spot. Restaurant/Bar just 300 m away, where you can fill up water containers.
