Many dirt rods lead down to the shore along this stretch of road; but many of them are highly impassable due to runoff. This site is totally accessible as of 4/2020. Directly next to the crashing waves with amazing sunsets!

Nice Oceanside parking on top of a little cliff. Fairly level. Hard to explain which dirt road to take in but as your coming along the #1 you’ll see a turn off and then you’ll have to follow a fairly washed out road down. We took our extended sprinter 2wd down here but there was a couple sketchy spots lol
Report Check-InAs the name says ocean front perfection! If you really wanna be next to the sea you will need 4wd but you can also stop some meters before and is anyway awesome. Signal in several spots and hide from the hwy.
Report Check-InJust perfect place! To arrive next to the sea you will need 4wd but if you stop some meters before is anyway awesome! With signal in several spots and hide from the hwy
Report Check-Ingorgeous. we have a very weighed down Honda Element with a tent and we got down the road okay. beautiful though there is a bunch of trash. people come to collect rocks early in the morning. you are close to the road but they usually can't see you.
Report Check-InRoad was a little tough to navigate due to trenches but doable in 2WD. Room for our 2 vans and rv. some spots level. gorgeous views. nice hikes. decent telcel signal. dog friendly. free. quiet other than ocean waves. I could stay forever. workers arrive at 7 am to collect rocks. don't block the road down to the shore where they bring their trucks! stay on the cliff over looking the beach.
Report Check-InGood spot off Mexi 1 for a night or two. Dirt road is short and in fairly good condition, we were able to navigate it fine with a Subaru pulling a small trailer. Camping area is flat and has a trash can. Only others around were people collecting rocks from the beach. Would stay here again, as a quick and convenient stop off Mexi 1.
Report Check-Ingreat spot off the Méx 1 with a few level spots far away enough from one another to fell secluded. terrain wasn't bad, kept my Ranger in 2WD to get to my point. eay access to the shore line for a morning walk. you may run into fishermen checking their crab traps. One walk below the cliff I was at and waved back at me as he was searching the coast.
Report Check-InGreat spot to watch the swells, easy walk down to cobble beach. The road has gotten washed out to the point where you need decent clearance, careful driving in a Subaru should be sufficient.
Report Check-InSpent the last 3 nights here. Perfect spot to relax n listen to the waves crash against the shore. Perfect for surfers.
Report Check-InWe pulled off for a quick stay, easily found at night, there are several roads down but we took what seemed the most direct route and no need for high clearance or 4wd. Beautiful flat spot right up on a little cliff above the water, sound of waves were loud all night but no one else was around. Trash can at the spot. Close to highway but cannot hear the road and also cant really be seen from the road. Good cell service. Would stay here again.
