Just a grassy picnic area along the road, not hidden, no wind protection, a bit of noise from the cars and trucks passing and from the houses on the other side of the river. From this place, which possess a trash and picnic tables, you have no access to the river. Ok for one night if you need to stop between Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas

Ok for overnight stop between Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas. Gravel area with volcanic 'plug' natural monument a few hundred metres further, but as commented not accessible. River can be accessed for water from the opposite side of the road.

for an overnight stop o.k., trafic noise next to nothing at night. the ex volcano is on privat land, no walking possible. water only from the clean river.
