Description

Family-run hot springs with camping options. There is trash around but it's cheap and the hot springs themselves are decent and clean. Nothing spectacular but a good stopover place for us as we crossed the border from Nicaragua to Honduras that morning, heading to Largo Yojoa. Family is kind and it's definitely a local spot. Paid US$4 to camp and use the hot springs for two people. Not sure the rate for just the hot springs. Easy to find using Google maps, called Hot springs La Paz on Google. Camping was quiet during the week (outside of the always barking dogs in CA) and we had the Hot springs to ourselves.

Update 2023: The road is hard to drive, 4wd would be better, but we did it with 2wd.

We just stop here during the day to relax and launch (there are picnic table). The pools are nice and the temperature of water perfect! Price is 50L for adult and 25L for children. The owner, a nice guy, confirm us that we can camp here for free and there are also free WiFi.

We camped here for one night. The road to this pools are offroad and the way back is difficult, if your car dont have enough power. Wouldn do this with a big rig or a van with less than 160ps.

The water is hot but nothing special, just 2-3 hot pools. We could camp there for free. Wifi is also free, the password is painted at the entrance house.

There where a lot of teens with loud music until 4am, but because we parked at the grassy in the back, it was okay.

The 2$ entrance fee per person is fair enough.

Great place to stay. Basura is still here, water still caliente and the owner still fair in price.
