As description says, a lot next to the library. It was dark and hard to see but fortunately a woman (probably a library staff) was leaving and told us we could drive into the fenced area and park. We could hear trains passing (no horns blowing) on the other side of the freeway but it didn’t bother us. We felt safe because we were also next to the police station. There was a small shopping plaza to the south of us and had thought to park there, but didn’t want to be told by police that we had to leave. Thank you Sanders Public Library!

Flat parking by the trees; spoke to the sheriff and said it was not a problem as long as we weren’t staying too long. He said sometimes people have stayed for 3 or more days and that was too long. Some noise from I40 but not too bad. Local grocery has a great selection; pizza place is delicious and laundromat clean & reasonable. The people here are so nice and welcoming.

Just as described in the other comments. This is a big dirt lot right next to the library. It looks like the area is closed in by a fence, but there is a small opening. You’ll drive on a dirt road and then park directly next to the tree line. It is off the highway so some traffic noise but not too bad. Had full service for Verizon and AT&T.

As described. Some traffic noise, but otherwise a great place to park for the night. No one bothered us. One other camper in the parking lot with us. Free Wi-Fi until 9pm, then again early in the morning. Never would have found this place without this app. ☺️

Great spot, met some sheriffs who reassured us of our safety and told us to park along the tree lines. Stayed here for two nights while checking out Petrified forest NP. If you roll in when dark, the fence looks like it's closed but it wasn't for us.

library wifi reached us when parked along the trees, was able to stream Netflix.

Had a lot of trouble finding the right parking lot in the dark, the area is fully fenced and I ended up in a staff only lot. Ended up staying with a few semis across the street at the plaza, no issues there.

Great spot. Off the road just enough its close but quiet. Agree to all comments below for area and nice police officer. Leave no trace and we can continue to boondock peacefully. Happy Safe Travels!

Not entirely what I was expecting: the library seems to be one of a number of municipal buildings, the others mostly schools, that are clustered together just off the highway. Perhaps it’s summer construction but almost all of the area is surrounded by chain link fence now. There is a sign for library parking and a gap in the fence leading to the dirt lot. You can hear the highway and the trains passing. Overall it was flat enough; and there aren’t a ton of other options around. 3 bars VZN LTE.

Nous sommes resté ici 2 nuits. L’endroit est super calme, avec une Landry à moins de 500 mètres ainsi qu’un supermarché. Le wifi était top, j’ai pu downloader mes vidéos.

Thank you Sanders Public Library! Quiet level spot, no one else around as I arrived after the library closed. Free wifi and a peaceful night’s sleep. Exactly what I look for!

No problems with parking, walked around the building and found someone that confirmed it was OK to stay overnight and that security would be informed? Library WiFi disappeared at 9PM but their is a SUSD from the school that works as well

Nothing to add to previous entries. Very quiet, convenient, and a few flat spots. There were two other campers there.

Good spot for the night. Fair amount of highway noise, but no problems. WiFi was not working when I was there (could connect to it but no internet).

nice easy spot right off the freeway. some noise, trains but free wifi from library. grocery store nearby.

We parked on the dirt parking lot in front of the police station for a night. Super safe for sure.

I parked between the trees in the lower lot and still had a steering wifi signal.

Sheriffs coming and going until about 7pm but no one stopped or even looked at me sideways.

Interstate noise and occasional train but not a bad spot.

Big dirt lot right next to the library and police station. Park in lower sectionof lot. I stayed 3 nights with no issues (the local sheriff did like my 69 VW Bus tho). Decent Wifi from the library. There's two laundromats in town and a small grocery. Some noise from the interstate and trains but overall not too bad.
