Description

Awesome place for one night! No signs for anything anywhere from the perspective of closing or overnight parking. Pretty long drive up a gravel road to the fire tower. This is a public spot people visit all the time. I passed two guys in a car on my way up and three people showed up at about 1030pm and stayed for 30 min. The view is as good as any other "view", cool to see. Relatively flat area at the top for parking. If you're in anything bigger than a Promaster, I'm not sure I would attempt this as it's fairly narrow in the way up and if you have to pass someone.... the fall offs are VERY steep. Don't ruin it for everyone else.... if you have doubts, don't go, sorry.
At night, it's pitch black. The only thing you see are the lights when you're in the tower. The parking lot.... pitch black. Very quiet, very peaceful, very awesome.
Lastly.... you pass a small road for a cell tower in the way up.

I have Verizon and 5 bars...woohoo!

Awesome place, very quiet and peaceful, but a couple cars did come for a short visit to the tower. Spectacular sunset and sunrise from the tower. Shady, level parking, no amenities. Good cell service.
