Places like this is why Costa Rica is so great. We parked under some trees just where the road runs into the beach. There's a table and chairs there and a few other shady parking spaces to the north and the south along the beach. We spoke with a local when we arrived and he said it'd be safe and offered us water if we needed any. Only three houses on the beach they all looked unoccupied while we were there. In 24 hours we only saw 6 people, paradise. There was a knocked over sign warning of rips so be cautious while swimming. Good fishing and nice water to swim in regardless.
- DO NOT CAMP ON TOP OF THE HILL OVERLOOKING THE TWO BEACHES. ITS BEAUTIFUL BUT PRONE TO LIGHTNING STRIKES.

The place at this point is use by local every evening, better going 200 mètres left in front of the small house, we stay here 4 days, it is in the sun but we need it for the solar panel, if you have a 4x4 you can continue the track on the beach for 300 m there is a nice spot under the trees in front of a small house.
Report Check-InWe spent just one night here (in March 2018). Saw a couple of locals passing by, everyone greeted us in a friendly manner.
However, going into the woods we found a backpack containing the documents of an American and deprived off all items of value. I can only assume he was robbed and after taking away all valuables the robbers just threw the backpack away in here. We were fine but I wouldn't call this place "safe".
We'll try to find the owner and return everything in the next days.
Report Check-Inbeautiful beach and some camping utilities like a table and chairs. friendly people from the nearby village visit the hill nearby on Sunday. Can recommend
Report Check-InTurn right and go to the top of the hill. Unbelievably beautiful lookout spot but don't camp there or you will be hit by lightening. Beautiful campsites on the beach to the left.
Report Check-InFantastic spot. We drive to the right from the end of the road, found a shady spot with plenty of flat ground and a fire ring. Beautiful sunset. One of the neighbors walked by and was very friendly and welcoming! Would recommend this to anyone.
Report Check-InNice place. Decided to park in front of the houses as it seemed that there is no one around. It was a good choice as by night there was quite traffic close to access road.
