Reed Lake | Wild Camping

Arrived a few hours ago, dog and kid played and ran, beautiful wide area right next to the water. Eye sighting tower made of wood. Near a train rail so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper... For my part I’d rather hear a train than people. Hopefully nobody comes during the night as it is pretty exposed from the highway. Will update in the morning.

Nice place great view with the full moon reflecting on the lake. Like others two train since we arrived at 19:30, highway a little bit noisy but I’ve seen worst.

much too close to the trains for me it did Blair all night and they do seem to honk as soon as they come close to the camping site the other is down the road we're much better

I parked near the observation structure. The area is very flat and safe. I did not find the traffic or the train very noisy at all. I slept very well

We spent the night here, was beautiful and saw wildlife, but train horns throughout the night. Too many interruptions of sleep

Great spot over looking the lake. we drove and parked our TV trailer directly in front of the lookout tower over looking the lake. No issues. not alot of traffic noise, but there was some. train made some noise but didn't bother us at all.

Great place for one night stop. Great view and had a table, but trains passing non stop during the night.

Close to the highway, but in front of the lake, beautiful view! No washroom.

A bird lookout tower
Not far off the highway
Can hear traffic and trains
No signs re overnight stay
Our gps was confused coming in from the east, it sent us up a road across the highway and into a farmer’s field, better to access from the eastbound lanes of the trans Canada

Beautiful spot to stop for lunch! It’s very exposed for overnight parking but I doubt there would be any trouble.

Good view but rather load large trucks and trains driving by non stop. It was okay for one night.

really nice place as described just right beside the lake. city worker came in the morning, no mention to anyone, we were 3 rv/vans for the night. city of Morse info's on a panel but nothing about overnight stay. near the hwy yes near the train yes but with the lake...make your choice 😉 i
