Another paradise! At the end of NB with a beautiful sunrise. A very Long Beach all by ourselves for morning run. Tons of seals. You cannot stay at the lighthouse but this is the sandy road just beside. The toilets are available only from 9 AM to 6 PM. Few locals came at night to chat. Highly recommended
Report Check-InDormi ici. Pas de pancarte d'interdiction visible. 2 autres véhicules. Stationnement éclairé.
Report Check-InCannot stay near the lighthouse but there is a bumpy sand/rock beach road on the right side of the parking lot that you can drive down and stay
I asked the worker and she said its fine as long as you are hidden and lots of people stay there. So go at least 100m down after you see the turnaround where the no camping sign is
Lighthouse opens at 9am
Report Check-InThere is a No Camping sign at the lighthouse parking and another sign of no motor vehicules on the beach when you take the little sandy road
Report Check-InThere are signs of no overnight camping on both parking, the lighthouse and the one down the dirt road. We stayed anyway because it was late, there were other campers that stayed the night. No one bothered us.
Lots of mosquitos!!
Front of the beach. Place for 3 to 5 Van. Very peaceful. Nous étions 5 Van chacun son coin belle endroit tranquille
Report Check-InBeautiful spot!! 100% recommend, we arrived at sunset, the view was breathtaking. Beware though, there are lots of mosquitoes.
Report Check-InFYI, the Lighthouse and Foghorn are decommissioned oh, it now acts as a museum. there were no signs indicating that you couldn't stay overnight at the Lighthouse but they are open each morning at 8 so you would look really stupid camping there when people started arriving. As mentioned by other campers, take a right onto the dirt road and it will take you to a spot near the lighthouse. if you have a four-wheel drive you could actually take another right and drive up the beach a ways and have a more private campsite. we stayed there in truck camper so the wind didn't bother us but if you are planning on staying in a tent check the wind forecast before staying there. otherwise it is a great spot.
Report Check-InBeautiful wilderness by the sea next to the lighthouse Miscou. Take the little unpaved road to the right of the parking lot.
No sign whatsoever of overnite parking forbidden.
