Something not right?

Description

Wonderful spot right next to the lake with pebble beach. Fire pits, no facilities.
From the dirt road rp26 you take a little trail to the lake. Plenty of possibilities to stay under big Araucania trees. Just a bit tricky to find a flat spot, but possible. The trees and the view to the active vulcan are stunning

Closed. Road has new wooden posts baring entry.

You can park on the beach or higher up between the trees. 4G on the beach. Don't try to drive here following the beach from the other ioverlander spot. You need to come down from the mirador (or even a bit further is easier)

hermoso lugar parar acampar frente al lago con una hermosa vista del volcan, no se puede hacer fuego, no hay luz, no hay canilla con agua. pero podés sacar de la plaza de centro a solo 300 metros. mucho espacio para elegir.

great place with plenty of possibilities to park. Great view of the lake. Although there are places for BBQs, making fire is not allowed because is a protected area. #bringbackthetrashwithyou

Perfect places to stay on or above the lake. We stood on -37.864568, -71.037502 just behind the viewpoint. Week Movistar 3G.

Some other people here for bbq at day time but at night we were alone. Amazing spot at the lake!

Wonderful spot! Little dirt track from the main gravel road leading down to the lake (2wd possible). Plenty of spots for camping, under the trees in the shade, fireplaces, wonderful view of the volcano at sunset, right next to the lake. For two nights we were the only ones there.

Great spot indeed! Tourist center said nobody would bother if we camped here under the Auraucaria trees, just above the lake for the night.

Report Check-In

We could not find this spot. Probably misplaced and is the same as the beach spot down the way.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, a bit exposed to the wind off the lake, but great views of the volcano and lake.
