Just off the highway in some trees. Don't really hear the highway because of a close by stream.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Not the nicest place but with some ground clearance, we drove down the right into the woods over two bridges. It got pretty muddy so we turned around and stayed a little further up the road. Was pretty nice with minimum noise from the highway. 2nd night we camped just at the cross country check-in-house (which is closed at this time of the year) and also had no trouble.
Report Check-InQuiet spot, few firepits been made behind the car park. We pulled into the one on the left, think it's used by tree planters but we didn't hear anyone come in. Was a great spot, pretty level.
Report Check-InProbably not normally an ussue but we stayed late January, its the Nordic ski clubs car park they weren't too happy we were there just in my truck camper. They were happy for us to stay the night but definitely made it known we shouldnt be camping there
Report Check-InWouldn’t recommend for light sleepers. Gorgeous spot and we were able to pull in and park in our 40 ft bus no problem, but at around 2am the loggers started coming in and out of the service road. They have to pull in next to the parking spot to turn. Lots of bright lights and noise. Might be fine if you’re a deep sleeper with black-outs and earplugs!
Report Check-InOpen parking lot with pit toilets. Lots of options to choose from for parking. Hand a ride beside the structure and there’s a bench and fire pit tucked in some trees. There’s a red gate that’s not locked and can maybe drive down that way for more spots? River for water with a waterfall if you follow it up. There’s also a forest road once you cross the bridge. There’s another camp spot for tents or vans on your right. I’m sure there’s more spots up the forest road if you keep driving. Road looks pretty smooth but I didn’t go up it to explore anymore. Main parking lot is big enough for any camper combo. A unimog camper even showed up!
Would recommend this spot over the one 2km closer to town.
Also I had 3 bar cell service at this location.
