Elías is a very knowledgeable mechanic and his son is an electrician who helped us rig our electrical system in the RV. They are barrateros (meaning super affordable). Their garage fits campers and RVs!

Spent the whole day (from 10am till 7pm) with Elias and his son Elias (nope it’s not a mistake) looking how to fixe some engine trouble of our VW combi van. I liked their approach and willing to help immediately without fixing an appointment. Return to their garage on Monday to change the oil. 500 pesos for oil, 120 for their work. Will see later how my combi was fixed but at least I received help and explanation and we worked together on my van. They also find a gas leak what I did not mention to them but smelled a lot of gasoline in the cabin.
Report Check-InI had to adjust the tracksetting of my van. The taller is a knowledgeable man, did a good work. I can recommend him if you have problems with your car. Normally I do repairwork by my own, but I had not the tools to do it.
Report Check-InHighly recommended!! Very friendly, helped us right away with our ignition. 3h of work, charged us 350 pesos. He doesn’t speak any English, but he’s very familiar with google translate 🙃
Report Check-InGo to this place. Charged 250 pesos for an oil change. I supplied the oil and filter. Greased the suspension, checked all fluids, difs etc. also fabbed a piece for a bed leg that I needed. Very happy with the service….family run operation.
Report Check-InCannot recommend this man enough. Our van kept stalling one morning when we were trying to leave San cris and Elias knew what the problem was after a quick drive. Removed our carburetor and cleaned it thoroughly. 2 hours work for 300 pesos. He’s super knowledgeable and extremely fast at is work. Have never had a mechanic like him. This is t he correct location. Long rigs might find it hard to turn in but it’s doable
Report Check-In(Responding to moderator note on this location: I would say that the streets and property itself can easily handle a camper and a small RV if there are not other cars in the way of pulling in. Turning into it is another story as the street is the standard width of streets in San Cris and doesn’t have space for a wide turn.)
Friendly mechanic, no English spoken. Performed an oil change on my Toyota RAV4 in one hour for $800 pesos.
