It's mainly a parkinglot for the ATV- and motorcycle users. So expect noise during the day. The place itself is very secluded, has a pit toilet and is very quiet at night. Can fit each size of RV. Recommended for a stop before entering Badlands NP. Nice views.

Large lot with some tree coverage along the perimeter. We have a smaller vehicle that didn't have any issues in the lot and there were also some big rigs. The pit toilet was an added bonus.
Report Check-InGreat little peaceful spot! The dirt road in is actually pretty nice in most places … just watch the curves for washboard.
We parked down on the grass in between a van and a small RV. There were several other RVs in the parking lot.
Nice to have a pit potty nearby! 👍
Great spot, very quiet and nobody here. Loads of flies that get everywhere though.
Report Check-Inprobably one of my favorite campsites on the trip the stars at night were incredible I had the whole parking lot to myself and was very quiet at night definitely off the main road highly recommend 45 minute drive to Badlands I had zero cell phone service
Report Check-InLovely, wide open parking area. Lots of sun, save a few spots under trees around the edges. Cool, fresh night air with minimal wind. There were a few dirt bikes around 7:30 and again around 8:00, but they were mostly on trails away from the parking area so noise was minimal. Generally flat; Zero cell service.
Report Check-Inas posted, the road in is 1.5 mile gravel, some washboard but ok for all vehicles. spot is nice and secluded, plenty of space and away from the wind. be aware though: first OTV hit us at 6:30... it was Saturday
Report Check-InParking lot with several spaces and a pit toilet. Close to Badlands NP. Protected from the wind as it's in the valley of some hills
Report Check-InNice and quiet spot. We got the parking for ourself. Careful with your dogs, we heard coyotes really close by. Pit toilet was available. Songbirds sang for us all morning. Around 9pm, an military helicopter was doing exercices next to us, but i can't imagine this is the case every night...
