Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Checking in to leave feedback even though we did not make it to the site because the “dirt road” turned into a sand pit. We got stuck and stuck good. Right in the middle of the “road.” No rescue til next morning.
Report Check-InAbsolutely stunning views. Be very careful about how you route into this spot. Make sure to route in from US89a. There are other ways but they are mostly jeep trails. We drove from Grand Canyon highway (67) I would say it is 4x4 only. I made it in 2wd in my van but any misstep would have required 4x4 and some skill to get out.
We took the short route out and it was rough. Nothing you can’t do with a 2wd with a little ground clearance but the road was corrugated for 25miles.
