We were heading north on the Saturday of a long weekend. All camp sites full so enroute to Elk River Rest Area (in 20 km) we came across this one and stopped. No 'no overnight parking/camping' signs. Picnic tables, pit clean pit toilets, trash bins and level pavement. There is a grassy area between lot and lake but not sure if tents would be allowed. There is a trail to the lake but not a great access or view. No cell reception. Quiet from dusk to dawn. No one bothered us.

Road quite busy during the day but nice and quiet during the night.
Would certainly use again
