Beautiful location. There are no first-come, first-served sites. ALL sites must be reserved. You can do this on the spot, but you have to do it either online or by calling the park. Cell service might be spotty in the park, so you might have to drive back down the road a bit. I was able to do it from the park though. Also note that this is a high-altitide place and that it will have snow much longer than most nearby places. I went in early April and half the park was still inaccessible due to snow. The east side of the park is at the lower elevation; it climbs as you go west, so there tends to be more snow there. So, if you reserve the west-most site in early spring, don't be surprised if you can't get to it.

Peaceful beautiful vistas and the cleanest bathrooms we have ever encountered in any public campground. Not that far from Twin Falls and totally worth the adventure. We entered from the west gate near Oakley and exited at the east gate near the visitor center. IMPORTANT - If you're going to stay, book on ReserveAmerica before you lose Internet. No cell and nearest Wi-Fi the visitor center outside the park.

Good campgrounds. Maybe not worth the cost. Nearly all grounds have entrances to hikes so loads of traffic around the site.

$14/night, but you have to go through reserveamerica so a $10 fee is added :/

Plenty of spaces that will fit out 28 ft class c. Lots of room mid week in July, almost nobody else here. No service at the park but the visitor center has wifi and there's verizon and att cell reception at the furthest camping area (Finger Rock / area 7).

Totally empty in the off season.

Spent a night at site 39 near bath rock.

Well maintained. Nice views and hiking. 3g Verizon on the Eastern side.

Report Check-In

bit crowded. June and September are busiest months according to Ranger. there are a few non reservable sites amongst the rocks. Clean pit toilets and fire rings.

What a hidden gem this place is. So beautiful! We paid $14/night. First come first serve right now. Centralized dump station. No trash services so pack it out. Incredible rock climbing.
