Awesome spot to stay for a night. Right off the main road. Bathrooms, dump, fill -with potable water, & an overnight parking area.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Definitely not closed. They are working on the Hwy and have closed the Westside overnight parking area at the rest stop. But this listing is for the dump, not the overnight parking.
The dump is in the big loop on the side nearest to the Hwy. Easy in and easy to use.
There is a flush water spigot (the tall one) and a fresh water spigot (the short blue one), but both are right next to each other. And, the hose on the flush water is missing, so you can easily imagine that someone has used their poopy hands on the fresh water handle. I carry a spray bottle of alcohol for such occasions to clean up the spigot before using (you could use alcohol or disinfecting wipes as well).
Report Check-Inthe dump station is open. ready area seems okay, hey it's the desert. covered picnic tables. fresh potable water also. sorry didn't visit restrooms.

Station is open with water.
Its seasonal…. As of May it is open….
Not sure when it opens and closes for the year.
Great dump place. Easy access and above all it’s one of the last free dump and water fill stations I’ve found. Please let’s keep it that way. Clean up after yourself and respect what is freely given.
Report Check-InGreat place to park overnight, lots of space and picnic tables. The dump station was locked and water spigots were turned off for the season. Bathrooms were flush toilets, disgusting but usable.
Report Check-InDump station closed during the winter months. Too spooky to stay overnight, opted for the Banc Club Casino parking lot in nearby Tonopah instead.
