Seasonal closures to MV’s. Access road is currently closed, gate is locked and trail is overgrown. Looks like it’s been closed for at least a year. Good parking spots outside gates with vault toilets, benches, multiple spots. “Beware of Rattlesnakes” sign posted at trailhead
Report Check-InThis place is marvelous. I am not sure what the BLM intention was, but the lock on the large gate was open, there was no sign advising against vehicles and so we drove right up to the Waterfall to camp. One of my top three camp grounds ever. To drive to the waterfall you need something more seriously off road, like a Jeep Wrangler, Defender or as was the case with us, a Russian Ambulance. There is a fire pit made from stone, and that’s it.
