couple of sites right on the river. we had a black bear and eagle fishing on the river right in front of us, very nice entertainment since it was pouring rain. Also had a seal swimming upriver. We got in easily with our 22 foot C class.
A word of caution. We arrived just after the rain started and camped about 50 feet from the 20 foot wide calm stream. It took about 2 hours for the stream to get to a 200 ft wide torrent within about 10 feet of our MH. While it never appeared that the site would flood, we would recommend keeping an eye on the water level during and after rain events.
We added two pictures of the river so you can see the difference in the river after all the rain.
Came back in the afternoon, the place had flooded after two days of solid and hard rain.

Along with observing bear and a herd of elk from our campsite, a large, healthy looking cougar crossed the river just a 150 metres downstream.
Report Check-InAlong with eeing bear and elk from our campsite we later observed a healthy looking cougar crossing the river just a 150 metres downstream!
Report Check-InArrived Friday afternoon and it was sunny and warm (25ºC). Sites were clean with new picnic tables and fire rings (although there is currently a fire ban). Site is directly on the Conuma River, a herd of elk were in the river about 200 meters downstream when we arrived. The water is shallow here and one can easily wade across the warm water. Absolutely beautiful and worth the well-maintained but washboard gravel road.
Report Check-InA very nice small square on the river with a very nice view of the mountains. we can only recommend on the way to Thasis.
Report Check-InThis is a very nice campsite. We were the only ones here. It was very quiet and peaceful.
Report Check-InNice place next to the river. Lots of space, no tables. There is a - not clean but usable - pit toilet at the left hand side end of the campsite.
Report Check-Inbeautiful site! we really wanted to stay but the only site remaining was away from the stream in the grass. would recommend! just off the main highway/logging road. zero cell service.
