Small forest road with decent RV site near the road and another a bit farther back here. Past this point it’s rough.

Drove in mid day on a Saturday, so, as expected there was significant traffic. Ended up driving 2 miles back 226 as all camp sites were occupied (many with very large groups). Note, Verizon cell service dropped completely at about the 2 mi mark. Doubled back and luckily a site had opened up about 0.5 miles from I-17. Beautiful weather this time of year which made for great star gazing. Also pleasantly surprised that the site had been taken care of by previous occupants with minimal refuse left behind.
Report Check-InThank you to the previous tenants for leaving 20+ nice tidy bags of 💩 behind for the rest of us to enjoy, you're awesome! All this public access and you Arizonians abuse it so bad. See it over and over. Pack it in, pack it out...losers
Report Check-InBeautiful terrain on either side of the road. Fairly easy to get a single axle old camper in at the right spot. We camped just a half mile down. So far 5 PM on a Friday night, we have no neighbors and it is quiet. The only downside is we found a good deal of broken glass in one area that we had to pick up manually because we have a dog. You do still get road noise from 17.
