There are designated spots for overnight parking. They are clearly marked in the main lot with signs, “overnight parking” They face north-north east, and are parallel parking . There is nothing noted on the signs with limitations as to time of year. I did see a good sized 25’ class B. And several vans. I stayed 2 nights. ** The overnight camping in Govy Camp has restrictions for winter clearly indicated Nov-1 to I think May 1. This based on snow removal.

Latest Check-Ins

The first lot on the right as you pull up to the lodge. Used by backpackers and hikers. No overnight parking signs, but there were at least 4 vans and other campers parking overnight when we came. No overnight parking in the upper parking lot or in front of the lodge.

overnight parking is available in the lower salmon lot. please be respectful and pick up your dog poop.

We stayed here overnight based on the information previously posted. However, there are no longer signs posted for overnight parking. The guy in the gift shop advised to park in the main parking lot along the outside parameter.
No one bothered us at night, but the next morning a guy came around setting out traffic cones along the parking lot. He told the guy parked in a large class A next to us that it was for day use only and if they were still there the next morning they would be ticketed.
No knock on our door, but he left a note on the windshield of our tow vehicle stating No Camping Allowed. Overnight parking was only for hikers and vehicles could not be occupied overnight.
You could probably get away with a small rig like ours or with a van. Just don’t deploy your support jacks, awning, etc or set out your lawn chairs and bbq. It was a beautiful view and we enjoyed breakfast in the lodge restaurant the next morning. Would not recommend more than one night stay

Segundo o que a gente entendeu, não se pode mais dormir, só usar o estacionamento durante o dia.

Mild correction: you can park overnight “with special use permit” and in the right designated area. However, this is to park and tent camp on the mountain. In car/van/RV is not permitted.

We came up to stay the night and avoid the rush for parking the next morning. Got a knock on the door about 8:45pm from Timberline staff saying overnight parking is allowed but you’re not allowed to sleep in your vehicle. They were really nice about it and said we could stay the night since we had already cracked a beer but I will be respectful and not park here overnight anymore.
