Report Check-InSlab City reminded me of Mogadishu so I continued on past the canal until it was just unoccupied land. If you are overlanding there is plenty of open space on the south side of the dirt road. The north side is restricted. Look for a turn off that has already been used If you don't have 4WD. There are trees large enough for some shade. Beware there can be soft sandy places. I parked well off the roadside to be unseen and unbothered.
