You can stay overnight and people stay here for months. There is parking on other side of rest area where you can camp.. Police bever bother anyone here because they rather have you park here then in the rest area. You can reach the wather spigots now with a 10ft hose in rest area.

The rest area is closed but the pier side is open. No signs for no overnight parking. Highway noise died down at night. Good fishing.

This rest area is closed. 6 miles north is an open rest area.

NO Dump station!!!!
Need a longe hose for the water.

This is an excellent overnight parking / camping spot. It’s definitely allowed at this rest area, over the Skyway bridge heading South. Closest and only free camping we found near St Petersburg’s. Stayed several nights. Right next to the water, overnight security, 24h bathrooms and water, picnic area. No 3hr parking signs, lots of RV / van / car sleepers.

We stayed here overnight after getting chased away by police everywhere else in the area.

hostile. 3hour stay enforced. cant fill your water tanks. take a dump, and get out. Park on the pier road on the other side of highway if you dont want rentacop to knock on your car at 1:00am

Great place to stay with a RV, nice view at the bridge !! Clean toilets

Overnight rest area. Great waterfront view. Public toilets and vending machines.
