Description

High above the clouds, a pull out on a very windy, rural, wild road.
This spot was good but honestly throughout this whole street there are so many pull outs that are great for camping, come early because apparently this is no secret and there are angry van lords who don’t want to share pull outs. We had a great night and a peaceful morning waking up and having breakfast here. Less then 15 cars have driven by in the 12 hours we’ve been here 9pm-9am
Highly recommend if your car can make the steep mountain drive.

Great Views. High above clouds, probably the most ‘private’ of the pull outs. Could fit 2 maybe 3 cars here. Fire ring, however there are no fire signs when you enter. Burn responsibly.

Lots of pull outs along this road. Some are in poor shape and rutted out because of all the rain they’ve had this year, but there are still quite a few spots that can hold more than one vehicle. As others have said, this road is steep and with lots of tight narrow turns. Recommend , vans, truck campers or very small tow behinds. This spot saved my bacon as I was struggling to find a spot late on Easter weekend. Especially with 33 closed right now.

As others have written a beautiful view all around. Didn't have much wind and the only other people we saw were there for the sunset and gone after sundown.

Stayed a night and would recommend.

we spent a night there - great place. not much traffic at night and it's actually allowed to camp there. just no fires, but propane is ok.
