Dispersed campsite with super view of Lake Winona. Most of the Forest Roads are easily handled in a standard 2WD vehicle/van. However the last little short road to the top is very rocky. There is a rock fire ring and AT&T LTE was good.

Great spot to come and get a good view. I drove my Nissan rogue up no problem but don’t bring a sedan. Small suvs are fine as long as you have clearance. And any type of sprinter will make it just fine as well. If you go to the right when you get to it there is a trail leading to to some great hammock camping on the cliff.
Report Check-InBeautiful views, especially the sunrise. Two spots with fire rings, could probably fit a third vehicle easily. The last little bit of road to get up here is no problem for trucks/jeeps but a little tough in the van. Very rocky with a few deep ruts. Made it in my awd transit alright. Poor cell signal with Verizon but T mobile managed to do alright.
Report Check-Ingorgeous camping spot with distant views and lake Vista. 4x4 with high clearance required if you want to drive up to the spot. .25 mile walk if you park at the bottom by the gravel road
Report Check-InA spot like no other with incredible views! The road coming in was a bit rough, but my stock 4Runner made it up with no problems.
Report Check-InLast stretch is very washed out and rocky. Would not recommend for anyone in a 2WD vehicle. Our van would not have made it to the top, but a 4x4 short van might be able to.
There are tons of spots to park along the road on the way to this spot. Beware of Rattlesnakes, we saw a 4' one on the road on the way to this spot.
