There are lots of places for dispersed camping here. Unfortunately there is so, so much trash. We picked up the trash in our area and left it at the gazebo near the entrance, which I've heard is maintained by the county. This place is convenient because of its proximity to Buckeye, and its easy roads in (level dirt, some washboard). But the amount of garbage and shooting debris (shells and garbage that's been shot up) makes it kind of a depressing place. Decent Verizon and AT&T reception.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great place with lots of spots. A bit exposed and some garbage but still nice. 2 Verizon bars.
Report Check-InNice spot to relax a few days. Only issue I had was someone pulling up kinda close to me my last night with so many other open spots.
Report Check-InA great spot. Plenty of space to spread out. My TMobile is better than my Verizon service, both can maintain streaming & handled work (zoom calls) just fine. Only complaint is sometimes people go through very fast on the road, mostly at night. Just be careful & cautious of others as you’re coming in & leaving :) the road is packed hard , some spots are a little wash boarded but nothing too bad
Report Check-InThis is a good boondocking spot outside phoenix. I didn’t see any of the garbage or shells Manitoba’s elsewhere but there were a lot of other campers and the side roads undulate a lot. Sites are flat but I had to use a pull off by the main road arriving late after dark but it was quiet and peaceful.
Report Check-InVery nice spot. As per others that have stayed here we observed (and pick up) garbage. Audible gun range and some aircraft noise but a nice place to spend a few days.
It appears to be a popular dirt bike and 4x4 place but they were not bothersome. Some sites are very flat.
Our 20ft Sprinter van negotiated the roads well and we saw some class A's in the distance too.
Great area for camping! signs posted that say camping allowed for 14 days. many sites. we hauled out some trash but not nearly as much as other posters, so people must be cleaning up after themselves!
Report Check-InSolid spot for a quick stop before heading to Phoenix. Good Verizon service, no amenities. Lovely views
Report Check-InGreat spot near southern Phoenix. A little bumpy driving in. Other rigs present and visible but plenty of parking. Close to highway too. I’m in a 28-ft skoolie.
Report Check-InAs others have said, lots of trash, gun shells, glass all over. Plenty of spots to choose from. We were there with several other rigs, but had good enough distance to get some privacy. Verizon recently was okay but not great (used a boost a lot).
Report Check-InTemporarily going to school in Goodyear so I stayed here for the 14 day limit before moving on. Didn’t have a whole lot of people right near my campsite. There is a lot of room so everyone stays pretty spread out. Saw a rattle snake and lots of spiders. If you put out a pail of water or fruit the desert foxes will come drink every now and then. Not a whole lot of trees or shade so having an awning helps immensely.
There is a bit of highway noise but not enough to bother me. The jets flying over all hours of the day and night did however. There is a small hill nearby the pin where you can get an amazing lay of the land. There was some trash, picked up what I had room for before leaving.
During the summer months there are a lot of floods so steer clear of depressions in the land or washes.
Road out was a bit sandy, saw a truck and fifth wheel stuck pretty badly. A 2wd van would do fine if you aren’t too heavy.
Cell service is awesome (Verizon) 5g and 3 bars. Loads Netflix and Spotify instantly. Will attach internet speed report.
Keep it clean keep it cool my friends

Report Check-InQuiet night, some road noise. No trash service at the moment, so pack it out. Decent cell service. Some shots in the distance for those with skittish pets.
Report Check-InPleasantly surprised at the lack of trash around our site, there was a big pile of trash at the entrance gazebo. Thank you to whoever is doing the cleanup. There is access to the Bike trails across the Hwy via a jeep road, thru a sand wash then thru the culverts.
Report Check-InI found a real nice spot not far off the road and by a pretty good sized road. Nice quiet night
Report Check-InThe entrance is pretty trashy and there is a sign that says "No Overnight Camping." Go past the pavillion and bear LEFT. It's just a couple miles to the BLM land where it says there is camping, with a 14 day limit.
Roads are washboarded, but easily navigated by anyone. Found a lovely spot with amazing views.
There are several areas to pull off the main road and camp. This particular one only has room for about two rigs, but it has beautiful views and there’s a turn around at the end. There’s an area just before this one that has more room, but I’m not sure about further in. I didn’t drive down that way. The campsite was mostly clean, with the exception of some debris from target shooting & broken glass - both of which were in an area that’s blocked off. The road in is dirt but well graded with only slight washboard in a few areas.
Report Check-InNice quiet BLM land, looks like it's been cleaned up trash wise.
The road from the freeway is dirt but recently graded and very little washboard.
