Nice campsite, we slept in no3. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and very original bathroom (without a roof), there is a donkey for hot water. We paid 225pp.

Great and well equipped campsites. Rock Pool site not suited for big rigs, not enough level ground. Unfortunately our hot water didn't work and the next morning no water at all. Rate 200 pp.

Farm and campsites are well sign-posted and easy to find if coming from Windhoek or Walvis Bay/Sossusvlei. Steaming hot showers using firewood geyser - takes about 20 to 30minutes for very hot water. Great viewpoint on hill and walks with views of khomas hochland. Big kitchen is covered with a roof and protected against wind, sun and rain.

we stayed 5 nights at this amazing place. there are 3 private campsites about 500 meters apart from each. each site has a kitchen area with zink and space to sit sheltered from rain and sun. we loved the use of natural features like trees and rocks in their bathrooms, outside showers and site 2 and 3 also have a plungepool.
there is solar power with USB and fridge connections . Jaques and Barbara are extremely helpful and lent us their own camping fridge when we had problems with our fridge plug. our dog loved the freedom of roaming around freely and going for long walks on the farm. we can't wait to come back. we paid NAD150 per person.
we hot some bread , eggs and boerewors from the farm and you can get wifi at the farmhouse, some spots at the campsites have network signal as well

Great Private Camp Sites far away from each other. Facilities and bathrooms were very clean. We enjoyed the wood-fired Hot tub at our camp site which is available on request. Lovely views of nature all around. Lights and Solar power to charge our fridge/freezer and speakers, phones. Big septic tank for sanitiation dump if needed. The outdoor tree shower was really great - water was very hot with wood-fired geyser. Roof over kitchen for shade. Lots of trees and space next to the river for shade. Amazing views of the Khomas Hochland from the Viewpoint - table and bench there for picnic or drinks. Price is N$200pppn. Children are half price.

Keinerlei Ausschilderung. Drei Campingplätze, sehr privat mit eigener Dusche/WC, sehr schön angelegt, mit Grillplatz und Küche, heißes Wasser mit donkey, sehr schöne Lage direkt am Flussbett! Auf 1800 m, kalt in der Nacht (7 Grad), traumhafter Sternenhimmel! 150$ pP

We stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful! Two beautiful new campsites next to the riverbed but in a distance from each other. Amazing stargazing, and literally no one around you. They installed a 12 V power distributor, which means you can switch the light for braai/bathroom area etc on and off, as you like. You can charge your phones or other devices via USB at your campsite. They sell braai wood and are very helpful with any needs you have.
200 N$ per person per night.
Only 150N$ per person per night for locals.
Please check the photo for the correct entrance gate. They haven't installed a sign yet.
Googlemaps will lead you 900 meters further east, but there is no gate.

Steinheim is a game farm situated 45km outside Windhoek on the C26 Kupferberg/Desert Dash rd enroute to Sossusvlei/Walvis Bay.
There private camp sites are situated on the river bed - with Kitchen (washing up sink) Toilets & Warm showers, (Geyser driven by wood / coal) Solar Lights & Plugs.
Rate $150 per person, per night.
