Argentina
This is where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid lived in Argentina after fleeing USA.
Not an organised attraction, you just kinda walk around it. Info at the local museum/bar just south.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The cabaña is in good shape. There wasn't anyone around, we just went inside and peeked around. As these are just empty buildings without any further info, don't miss the cafe/museum La Legal to learn more and see some relics.
Report Check-InSuperb. Well kept site. The gate was open and I rode my moto up to the cabañas. Nobody about. Walk around everywhere without problems but not inside the buildings.
There's no information here, go to La Legal just down the road for that.
Rio Tiger is just down through the woods. You really get a feel for the history of the bandits and the legend made famous by the movie.
The gate was closed when I left but was unlocked. Leave it as you find it.

Report Check-Inchecking in at the entrance. worth a stop. gave the owner a couple hundred pesos.
Report Check-InA small museum/bar opened just closeby, a bit south of Butch’s house. The museum is 50pesos pp. It does not represent much at the moment (just some info printed out and some pictures), but since it’s cheap, why not?
The lady is very nice and makes tasty lamb empanadas and lemon cake!
To visit Butch’s house, just climb over the fence. The visit is free but please close any doors you open!
it was closed. not to be confused with the museum a bit further south on 40
Report Check-Inif you are coming from Cholila turn left when you see the sign "casa de piedra" and its 20m on your right . enjoy it and look after it as we did
