This beach is gorgeous and beautiful and untouched by development/ tourism. We were here in a Sunday night, there were Mexican tourists walking/swimming/driving. You can drive right onto the beach.
We parked next to a restaurant and a guy selling coconuts who charged us 100 pesos. We probably could have just parked in the beach for free, but feels safer having someone on our side.
Had no trouble all night, just the sound of the waves. A great place to stop between Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.

Really nice and safe place, as described.a lot of sandflies if there are not wind.
Report Check-InThe restaurant said we could park our Campervan anywhere nearby - next to their bathroom or on the beach. We opted for on the beach 🙂 No charge. That might have been contingent on us eating at the restaurant - not sure. Regardless, we did have cena and desayunos there. In fact, they stayed open late for us. They also kept the palapa lights on and the banos open all night, just for us.
A very restful night, and interesting chatting with the local fishers in the morning. Overall, a very nice stop.
Oh, a couple of small tiendas in the very small pueblo. They have everything you need - water, food, etc.
