BLM above the petroglyphs | Wild Camping

Do not come to this campsite. There's a quite uneven path for cars, doable with a 2WD (tho avoid if wet). the grass is all overgrown. No place to park or set up a tent. Satellite view is outdated, there's no side paths to take nor cleared spots to camp at. Not recommended. I get 3 bars of TMobile with 5G, and there seems to be nobody.

Would not stay here again unless I was desperate. It was a Saturday night, and lots of cars kept coming through, more and more after midnight for some reason, some of them driving very close to my Ford Transit. The gunfire was unsettling, especially when it got closer, to me around 2:00 am. Felt sketchy. I left at 2:30 am and parked at a truck stop near Albuquerque, for a restful 4-hour sleep.

machine gun fire and jet engines at night. it's a bit trashy on the way in but the end roundabout is clean has a fantastic sunset and view of the surrounding mountains

So much garbage! Really sad how much garbage is everywhere, plus debris from shooting everywhere.

Fairly quiet spot down a pretty rough dirt road. Made it fine in my Chevy HHR just took it slowly. One other car and woke up to the sound of target practice.

Great spot. Lots of options. Great Verizon coverage. No one else around.

Free. BLM land. Continue past the cattle guard. There's lots of garbage littered around but the place we found was relatively clean. Tucked in the trees near privately-owned property. Excellent ATT and Verizon signal.
